Neon Eon - 'ESP' 2019
This is the second time Neon Eon has been featured on da KLUB. Good reviews from the last Pinot Nouveau a few months ago - so, thought I'd bring back some of that BC good-good! ESP stands for "Extra Sensory Perception" - is a co-ferment of 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay! What's a co-ferment?? Typical wine blends happen after a single grape varietal is fermented and ready for bottling, but a co-ferment means that the Pinot and Chard were actually fermented together in a tank... in harmony... to create something unique and tasty. Excited for you to try this!
Neipoort - Nat Cool Branco
The first Portuguese wine on the Klub, "Nat Cool" is the brain child of Dirk Niepoort. He created Nat Cool in response to the market (me and my market) that wanted fun, easy-going, naturally made wines that could be enjoyed everyday! His goal is to expand the Nat Cool spirit to other producers as well - a cool project I can get behind! This is a Vinho Verde, very fresh and fun - can be enjoyed all over summer in Portugal - comes with a touch of fizz to make it oh so chuggable. Grab a tart and slam a few glasses of this Portuguese jumbo juice.

Milan Nestarac - Youngster Rose 2019
The Jaromir Jagr of wine?? Milan is making some amazing stuff, just north of the Austrian border in Moravský Žižkov (sp?) Czech Republic. His wines are energetic and quaffable - he's a proud member of "Autentisté" group, a collective of Czech winemakers dedicated to holistic farming and producing wines with minimal additives. This "youngster" wine is Nestarec’s nouveau style - released fresh and young within the small year of the harvest! Very slappy! Top cheddar stuff - mullet man Jags approved.
Fruktstereo - "This is not cider" and some cider
Frukstereo is a "pet nat, fruit-based beverage fermentation lab" by Karl Sjöström & Mikael Nypelius in Sweden! they make wild and wacky traditional ciders and some stuff called "not cider". They have been all the rage in the natty wine world as of late - and this is the first time it's come to Ontario. So, I grabbed a few bottles for your light alcoholic and light drinking pleasure. You'll get some combination of fruit beverages, that will blow your mind. Should have bought more....
